Reports Delcarmen won't be on ALDS roster

This afternoon Amalie Benjamim, of the Boston Globe Twittered that Manny Delcarmen will not be on the ALDS roster out in Anaheim. Paul Byrd will be taking his place on the roster. Delcarmen had an accident on the way to the ball park during the Sox last weekend of regular season and has been battling with a stiff back. The flight out to California didn't fair well for Delcarmen. It was reported that his back stiffened up on the flight.

Also today Amalie Benjamin stated that she is suspecting that the Red Sox will carry 2 to 3 extra outfielders. Joey Gathright, Brian Anderson and depending on Rocco Baldelli's hip. The Red Sox haven't announced the complete roster yet and some players don't know if they are on or not seeing Red Sox have until tomorrow at 10am to make it final.
